As i sit here, I ponder greater things...what does 2012 hold for me? Will it be riding and racing, or golf...
I did dig my clubs out and dust them off, and I did go on a 20 mile road ride to end 2011, the latter was to see if the time I've taken off the bike is doing any good.
Hmmm...yes and no...yes because I can actually walk today and no because a nerve in the middle of my right butt muscle woke me up at 4:45 this morning...it feels like someone is driving a knife in...repeatedly!!!
So progress, yes and no...I'm going to go for another ride today, an easy ride in the woods. The wind was howling yesterday and is doing the same today, so the woods is where it will be today!! Hopefully another ride will relieve the pain in my gluteus maximus...
It's funny, I haven't been out on the road for at least a month, probably longer. Yesterday, I was kinda half expecting some idiot in a car to do something stupid. I was not to be disappointed, a teenage kid with helmet hair (think beiber hair), waited til I was right in front of him to pull out on the road I was on...I gave him a nice loud shout, he stopped, then gave me an apology wave...I guess it's a good thing I was expecting it. It would be nice to go for an idiot free road ride...sadly...those days are gone and never to return...
